The Rocky Horror Show - A Musical by Richard O'Brien

This is the stage musical that spawned the longest running theatrical release in film history.  Written as a musical horror, RHS follows a wholesome American couple into the midst of a group of aliens who have developed the Frankenstein-like power to animate dead tissue.  The audience sings along as our heroes find out how sinister their host really are.

Cinderella - A Musical by Rogers and Hammerstein

Rogers and Hammerstein created a musical version of the beloved children's tale.  This is a grand spectacle with the Fairy Godmother, the Lonely Prince, the Beautiful Palace Ball and lost love reunited.  The action is accompanied by a wonderful score.  And, of course, the prince and Cinderella live happily ever after.

Romantic Comedy - A Comedy by Bernard Slade

The plot focuses on Phoebe Craddock and Jason Carmichael, playwrights, who meet and decide to collaborate just as he is getting married.  Their relationship produces first a failure, then a string of successes.  Reparteé remains sharp and witty as their unrequited interest in each other gathers energy over a nine year period.  Finally, some resolution is in sight.

The Curious Savage - A Comedy by John Patrick

Comedy builds as elderly, wealthy Mrs. Savage tells her family that she will donate most of her estate to a designated charity.  Thinking she is not mentally well as a result of this decision, her children commit her to a posh asylum for the mentally ill.  Later the family learns she actually has converted her wealth to bonds and has hidden them.  A clutch of endearing "guests" help Mrs. Savage convince her family that she has destroyed the bond.  Maybe she's not so crazy after all!
